Adora recently donated toys and dolls to children in Africa through Reaching Beyond Ourselves. Reaching Beyond Ourselves is a non-profit organization that is completely volunteer based. They are built on the vision that "We are not here to solve, we are here to serve." With over 20 years of experience working with refuge camps, shelters, prisons and orphan care homes, this organization works locally and internationally with people who are suffering to bring aid, happiness and smiles to kids and families in need.
We were touched when they reached out to us to see if we would like to donate to their cause and upcoming trip to Kenya, Kitale City. We gladly donated dolls and toys to children in need during their mission visiting the slums, schools, precious kids centers and street kids.

We love participating and donating with charitable groups such as Reaching Beyond Ourselves because it reminds us that ALL children need fun and smiles in their lives. Toys, especially baby dolls, can give children emotional support, love and care. Not only can they give a child something physical to love and hold, but even a companion during the day and a way to express themselves through pretend play.

We are proud to be a part of a family that loves to Play it Forward. "Play it Forward" is an important phrase for us because we feel it is our social responsibility and part of our culture to go out and do some good in our communities through charities, donations, volunteer work and actions of love and care. Not only do we love creating fun, inspiring toys that are Made for Play, but we also want to make sure we give back. It is our responsibility to do our part to help create a healthy and nurturing future for all!
